i don't have a father and i definitely don't need a mother. no point having a mother who doesn't care about you and think that a child is born only to clean the house and vent anger on. seeing yiqing's loving and doting parents made me really jealous. why couldn't i have a perfect family like so many others. even if i weren't rich i wouldn't mind, as long as we all got along with each other and lived happily together, i couldn't ask for more.
ok. feeling emo now...
to the happy bit then. today i went ice skating~ yepp. 1st time and hey, i'm pretty good at it (or at least i feel so). bernice was pretty upset and fustrated as she couldn't/didn't skate as well as us. she was walking by the sides of the skating rink all the time. after skating, we went to eat shaved ice. nicenicenice. it's like really soft flavoured ice that didn't taste like ice becauseit was sososo soft. but i kinda regreted mixing green tea shaved ice with chocolate. mm. no nice, don't try. after that we realized we were pretty broke and then called for yiqing's father to come and rescue us. so after he rescued us (financially) we had macdonald's for lunch at eat coast park where we met bernice's classmate. after that we just went strollingby the beach. got bored and played by the water and got our pants wet and sandy. bernice dug a sand dune while yiqing drew lots of who x whos. me, i was busy catching seaweed/sea plants. finally we hitched a ride on yiqing's papa's car to city hall mrt where we sneaked to the cosplay shop otaku's place or something before coming back home. so in short, today was a fruitful day and i do not regret spending all that money. ^^'lll though my heart does still ache a bit from all the money spent.
